About me
A fulfilling life rarely follows a straight line. Before I devoted myself fully to psychotherapy, my path was shaped by variety: I worked as a marketing manager and in sales, appeared on stage as an actor and director, worked as a translator and coached executives.
Through my work in a wide range of social and clinical settings, from the Caritas Gruft and the Männerberatung to the child and adolescent psychiatry unit at UKH Tulln, I have learned one thing: every person carries their own story, but also the strength to change.
As a native English speaker from England, I have lived in Vienna for over 20 years. I know what it feels like to settle into a new culture, as well as the everyday challenges of life. With me, you will find a safe space where you can be exactly who you are, so that you are free to find new paths.
Why psychotherapy?
Person-centred psychotherapy is suitable for the treatment of all forms of psychological distress. Perhaps you have found it hard to motivate yourself for some time. Perhaps you have experienced a loss or a traumatic event, suffer from anxiety, or simply feel dissatisfied with yourself or your life. There may be behaviours you would like to avoid or change, but you can’t seem to manage it. Or you may be unsure how to deal with difficulties in an important relationship. All of this, and much more, can be good reasons to seek support.
